Obinna Ogba, a senator who represents Ebonyi Central Zone, has been nominated by a court of appeals to run for governor of the state in the election of 2023.
Elder Fred Udeogu, a PDP chieftain who confirmed the situation, said in an interview with Punch that the new course of events will ease the tension now “witnessed” within the party.
Udeogu said;
“Yes, the Appeal has ruled in favour of Senator Obinna Ogba.
“We thank God for this development, which shows there is still hope for us in this country, with the judiciary. It’s a well-deserved judgement and we give God the Glory.
