Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, a presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party, is said to have been attacked with water sachets while in Kogi State.
Punch claims that Kwankwaso traveled to Lokoja to open the party secretariat and his campaign headquarters.
The publication stated that when Kwankwaso got to a popular hotel to address his supporters, suspected hoodlums invaded the venue and started throwing sachets of water at him.
A similar incident occurred previously when Kwankwaso visited Ogbonicha, the country home of late Abubakar Audu.
He was reportedly accused of trying to hide under the canopy of the late ex-governor to woo supporters of the All Progressives Congress.
