Universal Music Group has announced a pan African label division called Def Jam Africa.
The latest launch features Nigerian and South African talented singers and rappers; Vector, Larry Gaaga, Boita, Cassper Nyovest, Nadia Nakai, Nasty C, Telleman and Ricky Tyler.

The record label has offices in Lagos, Nigeria and Johannesburg, South African, but will sign talented artists from across Africa.
However, the announcement was made known on the official Twitter page of Def Jam Recording: @defjam.
