BNXN: ‘I’m a hero in Lagos, Burna Boy is a beast’
Popular award-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter, BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has relished his superstar status in the city of Lagos.
The ‘Finesse’ crooner said he loves living in Lagos, despite being a chaotic city.
He said he makes the city residents happy, stressing that he is like “a neighborhood hero.”
BNXN covered the latest edition of the Teen Vogue Magazine alongside Ayra Starr and Victony.
“I really love living in Lagos, because there’s no place like it. Lagos has its own chaos, but I feel like I’m a neighborhood hero in that place now. I just live there and make people happy by just being there. Lagos is fun man. It’s full of everything I love,” he said.
The singer also disclosed that he learnt a lot from his former record label boss, Burna Boy, whom he described as a “beast.”
BNXN said, “There’s a whole lot I’ve got to understand and experience. He (Burna Boy) is a beast. He’s someone who’s so focused, especially when it comes to the craft itself.”
