Claims that civil servants in Nigeria were the ones who started corruption have been refuted by Joe Abah, the former director of the Bureau for Public Sector Reform.
When responding to a Twitter thread from tech entrepreneur Osaretin Victor Asemota who claimed that civil servants in Nigeria are the main perpetrators of corruption, Abah rejected this assertion.
According to Asemota, civil servants are the ”true evil” in Nigeria.
Abah disagreed with Osaretin’s position and shared some insights on how civil servants are the least effective in any chain of corruption. Read his thread below
