Twitter user informs man who claimed his mother was shot by bandits along the Abuja-Kaduna highway that this may be false news to damage the good work of Buhari and El Rufai.

On August 22, a Twitter user named Ibrahim revealed that his mother had been shot by thieves on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

He claims that one of his relatives was also kidnapped by the bandits during the attack.

His family member, Saleem Quardir, who confirmed the incident, said the victim was shot and dumped alive along the road.

Commenting on the tweet on Tuesday, a user said it may be a false news posted to tarnish the ‘good job of President Buhari and Governor El Rufai.’

Meanwhile, Ibrahim in a an update, said his mother is receiving treatment in a hospital.
